Write the Difference Between Disguised Unemployment and Seasonal Unemployment

Unemployment is defined as the stage where potent individuals cannot find an accurately paid job. On the basic consideration, unemployment is categorised in two parts:

  • Disguised unemployment

  • Seasonal unemployment

Disguised unemployment 

Seasonal unemployment

This type of employment represents the employed individuals but not the full-time employment

In this situation, individuals cannot find employment for a certain period or duration

In this type of employment, employees do not add any productivity despite having the job

No job hence no productivity

Example: The best example of disguised unemployment is, in a certain job requiring two individuals and four are appointed, the two employees are disguised

Example: Agricultural labourers find the job only during harvesting and crop seasons
