Sarojini Naidu is remembered and valued for her multi-aspect endeavour in the freedom movement and Indian society. She was born on 13 February 1879 and was a resident of Hyderabad.

She completed her schooling at the University of Madras and her graduation from Girton College, Cambridge, and King’s College, London.
