Who Is the Executive Head of State?

1. Governors appoints advocate general, chairman and members of the state public service commission. 
2. The Governor has the power to appoint court judges except for the High court.
3. Governor has the right to summon and prorogue the state legislature.
4. Governors address the session of the state legislative assembly or joint session of the two houses of the legislature.
5. Governor has the financial power as no bill can be introduced in the state legislative assembly without their permission.
