Answer: William Wundt is considered the father of psychology, he was a German psychologist who established the initial psychological laboratory in Leipzig, Germany in the year 1879. 

He explained psychology to be a field of science but would differ from other branches of science i.e, Biology and philosophy.

With his work in traditional psychology, he also paved the path for the basis of today’s modern psychology.
