Who appoints the prime minister of India?

Answer :The prime-minister of India is appointed by the President. The majority party or coalition in the Lok Sabha elects the prime minister, who is then officially appointed by the president.

Indian Constitution, Article No. 75 clearly states that, the President will appoint the prime minister, and the President appoints the other ministers on the suggestion of the prime minister.
