Coorg, often known as Kodagu, is Karnataka’s smallest district, lying halfway between Mangalore and Maysore. Coorg’s primary crop is coffee.

The Coorgi, also known as the Kodagu, are a fiercely independent tribe made up of martial men and attractive women who are thought to be derived from Greeks or Arabs.
