Answer: The state of Jammu and Kashmir is home to India’s northernmost point, which can be found in its namesake mountain range. This location is referred to as Indira Col. On the Indira Ridge in the Siachen Muztagh in the Karakoram Range is where you’ll find the mountain pass known as the Indira Col.

It has an elevation of 5,764 meters. In this part of the world, there are two different Col. The first is located in the western region, and the second is in the eastern region. In 1912, Bullock Workman gave the mountain pass that is now known as Eastern Col the name Indira Col, after one of the names of the goddess Lakshmi.

Arunachal Pradesh is the state that is located farthest to the east of India.
