Answer: ‘Gender’ is used to denote being male or female. With the help of gender, we can differentiate the state of a person. Grammatically, it divides the noun, pronouns, etc., into three different classes, i.e. masculine, feminine, and neutral.

Feminine gender nouns represent women, girls, and female animals, whereas masculine gender nouns represent men, boys, and male animals.  It refers to the physical characteristics of a human being.
