Answer: A strait is an oceanic landform connecting two seas or two large water areas. The top water generally moves simultaneously, getting higher on both sides and through the straight and narrow way in either direction.
It is most commonly a narrow, vast sea-limited way between two land masses. Some straits are not able to control through, for example, because they are either too narrow or too not deep or because of an unnavigable reef or group of Islands. Straits are also experienced to be loci for sediment stores.
