Answer: For the Hyderabad-Karnataka region of Karnataka, special provisions are outlined in Article 371-J. By the 98th Constitutional Amendment Act of 2012, this article was added to the Constitution.

Under Article 371-J, the President is authorized to specify that the Governor of Karnataka would have particular responsibility for:
