Question: What are the Three Levels of Government in India?
Answer: The three layers of government are :
- Central Government – It is the in-charge of the country
- State Government – It is the in-charge of the state
- Local Government – it is the in-charge of the village or town
Governments have the authority to enact legislation, make judgements and enforce those choices. People can go to the judiciary if they believe the government’s laws are unconstitutional. Because governments at all levels are chosen by the people, genuine power belongs with the people in a democracy.
