- Minority and majority views do not last.
- Minority and majority must collaborate to ensure that government operations represent general opinions.
- It must be realised that just governing by majority vote is not democracy.
- Its also essential that majority control doesn’t become majority community rule in provisions of linguistic group, colour, or religion, among other things.
- If someone is prevented from being in the majority due to birth, democratic governance no longer accommodates that group or person.
- Different groups and individuals can and may form a majority in any election or decision, which is what the term “rule by majority” means.
