Answer: (b) Odisha 

The tropic of Cancer does not go through Odisha. It passes through the states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Tripura, Jharkhand, Mizoram, and West Bengal. The sun is directly overhead at the Tropic of Cancer. 

(ii) Answer- (a) 97° 25′ E 

The easternmost point of India is 2 hours ahead of the western point. It lies in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. The town of Kibithu located in Arunachal Pradesh is the easternmost point of India.
