Opposite gender of Goose

The male Canada Goose is known as a Gander, whereas the female Goose is only referred to as Goose. Ganders are found throughout Canada. The male Goose is referred to as a gander in common parlance. It’s a water geese here. It is easy to distinguish between a male and a female since the male is a different color than the female.

This is due to the fact that males and females are distinguished visually by their respective colors. The term “geese” originates from the fact that male geese are often bigger than their female counterparts, which led to their being called “geese.” This disparity might be as great as 10 percent, which is a risk that must not be minimized and should not be ignored.
