Opposite Gender of Cow
Bulls are the opposite gender or the male counterparts of the cow.
Bulls are much more powerful than cows. They have thicker bones. They have feet that are larger than that of the cows. Their neck is very large and muscular. They have got 2 protective ridges over their head. Bulls and cows do not have any difference in their heights but they have a huge difference in their weight because of the muscles and mass that are present in bulls. The horns present in bulls are very strong and are thicker. The horns also depend on the breed.
Bulls become fertile when they reach or cross 7 months of age. A bull becomes fertile when the testicles reach about 28 centimeters and the adult bull can even have up to 40 centimeters. There are some misconceptions relating to bulls that become mad or become angry when anyone shows red cloth to them. It is proved that many animals are blind to green and red colors and bulls do not charge because of the person showing red cloth he charges because of the movement which is done by the matador’s cape.
Bulls are not only used for the sake of reproduction but they are also used in many sports like bullfighting and bull riding. They are used in many festivals and also in some the folk events like the running of the bulls. They were also used in sports that were used in ancient times such as bull-leaping.
