What is the difference between hydration and hydrolysis?

Answer: Hydration is often defined as the medical term for intake of water. This may be referred to as intra-venous or drinking fluid input. On the contrary Hydrolysis is defined as the breakdown of different complex bonds through splitting of molecules of water. Hydration has huge importance as all biological reaction occurs within water whereas the reaction of hydrolysis occurs within body.
