Answer: Positional Isomerism: Position isomers are the isomers in the same carbon chain that differ in the position of a functional group, multiple bonds, or substituent.

For Example, A chemical with the molecular formula C6H4Br2, consisting of the isomers 1,2-dibromobenzene, 1,3-dibromobenzene, and 1,4-dibromobenzene. The bromine atoms are in different places on the cyclic structure in these isomers.

Another example is the substance with the chemical formula C3H8O, which has two isomers: 1-propanol, also known as n-propyl alcohol, and 2-propanol, also known as isopropyl alcohol. The placement of the hydroxyl group on the carbon chain varies between these isomers.
