What is mole percent?

Answer: Mole Percent is described as the given component’s mole fraction multiplied by 100 percent. Mathematically it is expressed as 

mole percent a = mole fraction * 100 percent.

The overall total of the mole percentages for each particular component is a solution which is equal to 100 percent.  If there is a solution that consists of two components, solvent and solute then 

Mole percentage solvent + mole percentage solute = 100 percent
