What is Hyperconjugation effect?

What is Hyperconjugation effect? Find the Answer to this question access a vast question bank that is customized for learners.

Answer: Hyperconjugation can be defined as the reaction for stabilization that occurs due to the electron interaction between σ bonds with an adjacent partially filed or empty π-orbital or a p-orbital for giving the entire molecule a rather extended form of molecular orbital. This results in increasing the stability of the system. On the basis of the valence bond model hyperconjugation is defined as no-bond or double bond resonance and sometimes simply also called resonance.
