What is corrosion? Give two Examples.

Answer: The process through which metal slowly degrades due to the effect of some chemical reaction, water or air is known as corrosion. Throughout the corrosion process the surface of the metal gets acted upon by oxygen and moisture present within air and gets converted to the form of oxide. Two examples of corrosion are:

• Aluminium corrosion
