A self-indicator is considered to be a substance of chemical nature that possesses the ability to point out the absolute endpoint of any chemical reaction such as titration. This substance is also capable of self-participation within a chemical reaction. For example, Potassium Permanganate or KMNO4 is considered to be a self-indicator.
