What are the Two Allotropes of Oxygen?

Answer :- We know that oxygen is a very essential element of the atmosphere which is inhaled by us. We know that allotropes are just the various forms of the same elements. It possesses the property of the same element from which it derives itself. Oxygen has two allotropes – dioxygen and ozone. Dioxygen is the most common form of oxygen with the formula O₂. It has a double bond between the two oxygen atoms. Similarly, ozone has three atoms of oxygen, two are connected by a double bond and the third one is connected to the second one by a single bond in the Lewis structure of the atoms.
