Answer: Cesium is known to be the softest metal. It is a shiny metal rarely found, silver-white in colour. Its consistency is wax-like when kept at room temperature. It has double density than that of water and is highly ductile. It is termed from a Latin word “Caesium” which means sky blue given the blue spectral lines that run along the metal.
