Is glucose Acidic or Basic?

Answer:- Glucose neither shows acidic nor basic nature. Its pH value is 7 and hence, it is said to be neutral. 

When dissolved in a solution, it neither gives hydrogen ions as most of the acids do nor gives hydroxyl ions as most of the bases do. Hence, it does not possess the characteristic of acid or base. Hence, the nature of glucose is neutral.
