How will You Convert Benzene into Aniline

Answer: Benzene comprises six carbon atoms and six hydrogen atoms.

The benzene ring could first be treated with strongly oxidizing nitric acid in the presence of H2SO4 to form nitrobenzene. In this case, the reactor is connected to NO2+, which also replaces the proton from the benzene ring. In the second step, the catalytic hydrogenation of nitrobenzene provides the active aniline compound. The reagent used for this purpose is 10% Pd of carbon in complete ethanol, which acts as an adsorbent material for hydrogen gas and causes the reduction of the nitro group to amino groups.
