Metals with a lustrous appearance are referred to as lustrous. Metallic lustre refers to the gleaming aspect of metals.
Metals such as gold, silver, and copper can be polished and have the capacity to reflect light from their surfaces. Lead is an example of a non-lustrous metal.
Non-metals have no brilliance. They don’t have a surface that reflects light. Metals have a gleaming appearance, whilst non-metals have a dreary appearance. Non-metals such as, diamond and iodine are two examples.
