Write Short Notes on the Following (A) Cytoplasm (B) Nucleus

Answer:

(a) Cytoplasm:

It exists between the plasma membrane and the nucleus. Golgi bodies, mitochondria, and ribosomes are cell organelles that occur in the cytoplasm. The cytoplasm facilitates the exchange of material between these cell organelles. The metabolic reactions of a cell take place inside the Cytoplasm.

(b) Nucleus:

The nucleus of a cell controls all the functions of a cell. It is spherical and is found in the centre of the cell. The nuclear membrane separates Nucleus from the cytoplasm. The genetic material of the cell is contained in the Nucleus. Genetic material chromosomes are found in the dense body called the nucleolus.
