Will Hippopotamus Milk be in Pink Color

Answer: The colour of the milk of the Hippopotamus is pink due to two different kinds of acid secreted by the animal:- Hipposudoric Acid and Norhipposudoric Acid.

Hipposudoric Acid is red, also called Blood Sweat, but it is neither blood nor sweat.

Whereas Norhipposudoric acid is orange in colour. Both acids act as a UV rays protection layer or Sunscreen for Hippopotamus. A lactating Hippopotamus’ white milk gets combined with these two acids. Thus it gets the colour pink. Hence, it has been deduced that Hippopotamus has pink milk, whereas the milk is in its actual colour – white.
