Why is Water Called The Universal Solvent

No one on the earth can survive without water, weather, animals or plants. Water has chemical and physical attributes, which makes it a universal solvent. Oxygen has a negative charge, and hydrogen has a positive electrical charge; that is why molecules are attracted to water.
