Gottlieb Haberlandt is extensively recognized as the innovator who established tissue culture and is practicing this for a long period of time. Gottlieb Haberland (1902), who has been studying plant tissues, was the very first student in that field who did the establishment of plant tissue culture. This is why he has been identified as the father of tissue culture and he had his goal of expanding this process of division of cells.
