Answer: The ribosomes are transiently connected to the Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum, where the proteins are produced. Ribosomes are the places where proteins are made in a cell. Protein synthesis is one of the most crucial activities in the life of a cell since it not only builds structural components of the cell, but it also makes up the enzymes that catalyse the generation of the remaining organic macromolecules required for life.
