We are all aware that a flower can be split into two equivalent radial half any radial plane getting passed through the centre. It is described as ‘Actinomorphic.’

Actinomorphic flowers have three or more twin areas. They are linked together by rotation around the flower’s centre. Typically, each sector has one tepal, one petal, one sepal, and so on. The flower may or may not be divided into symmetrical slices by the same amount of longitudinal planes getting passed through the axis. Such flowers are also recognized as ‘radially symmetrical flowers’or regular flowers.’

‘The Actinomorphic flowers’ include the lily (Lilium, Liliaceae) and the buttercup (Ranunculus, Ranunculaceae). Mustard, datura, and chili are also included in it.
