Answer : Commensalism is defined as the relationship or interaction between two organisms sharing similar shelter and nourishment. The symbiotic interaction between the two species where one gets the advantages and the other species do not get an impact. This type of mutual relationship benefits one organism if another organism is not affected. The perfect example of commensalism is large fish and remora fish. Remora fish attaches to large fishes like sharks and whales for movement and nutrition. The pointed disc present on the head of remora fish helps them in this attachment. When the large animal is eating, remora fish conveniently detaches to get the extra food.
