What is Multiple Fission? How does it Occur in an Organ? Explain Briefly, Name One Organism which Exhibits this Type of Reproduction

Answer: Multiple fissions are part of asexual reproduction within unicellular organisms like sporozoans. During multiple fission, the nucleus is divided numerous times, followed by cytoplasm division for forming daughter cells. In simpler terms, cells are formed from the parent one without any sexual interaction.

The nucleus will divide itself, absorb the required measurement of cytoplasm and form a membrane surrounding each newly formed core. The daughter cells are equally divided and will appear similarly. The daughter cells will independently grow into an adult. As the name suggests, more than two daughter cells will be formed. Apart from sporozoans, plasmodium is also responsible for exhibiting such an asexual reproduction type.
