Answer: Food gives our bodies the nutrients they need to function, grow, and repair. The form of food we eat directly impacts our body’s function. Numerous chemical substances can be found in food. There are macronutrients and micronutrients in this category. Macronutrients are substances which are abundant in large amounts, such as protein, carbohydrates, and fats. Micronutrients were compounds found in small amounts, such as vitamins and dietary foods. We eat a wide variety of foods. Plants and animals generate the majority of fats in the organic process.

Water does not dissolve fats. Saturated fat remains solid at normal temperature, whereas unsaturated fat is liquid. Saturated fat is typically taken in the form of vegetable oils. Proteins are composed of amino acids linked by a peptide bond. It is particularly vital for the efficient functioning of living cells. Protein is also the soul of all that organism which does not generate its energy from sunshine. In general, proteins occur in two forms- full protein and incomplete protein. Complete proteins include all the eight essential amino acids that even the human body cannot manufacture.

The deficiency of proteins may lead to fatigue, hair loss, and failure of muscular mass. Carbohydrates, on the other hand, are just a source of energy that can be consumed or stored. Carbohydrates include glucose, sucrose, fructose, and mannose. As a result, food is a major source of energy or nutrients. It assists in the balance of our body’s energy. Energy-giving nutrition, protective nutrients, and body-building nutrients seem to be the three types of nutrients. A lack of nutrition can cause deficiencies in the body.
