Answer: Coenocytic Hyphae are nonseptate; they are long cells that are not divided into compartments. Coenocytic Hyphae, also known as aseptate, are long cells. Coenocytic Hyphae cannot be broken down into compartments. It comes from the Greek word konios, which means common and kytos which means box. It has several nuclei scattered in the cytoplasm and the Golgi apparatus and the endoplasmic reticulum. Hyphae generally comprise hypha, long filamentous branches found in fungi and actinobacteria. Each hypha consists of at least one cell encapsulated by a cell wall made up of chitin. The average size of hypha is five to six microns. As the hyphae grow, new septa can be created to internally divide the cells.

Coenocytic Hyphae is generally the result of nuclear division within a cell without accompanying division of the cytoplasm. It is referred to as a coenobium, and most of them are composed of a different number of cells which is often a multiple of two. Coenocytic Hyphae are available in many physiological ways like algae in it, presented in a diverse and unrelated group of algae, including Xanthophyceae, red algae, and green algae. 

Even the Protozoa have Diplomonads which have two nuclei present in them. Myxogastria are the slime mode as the life cycle of the plasmodium, Coenocytic Hyphae is present in them in a very good way. Even the plants consist of it like the endosperm begins to grow one fertilised cell later becomes a coenocyte. The number of nuclei present differs as the plant changes. As pathological examples, some cell-cycle control genes can lead to filament-like bacteria forming. 

Coenocytic Hyphae allow the faster movements of the nutrients than the septate hyphae as there is a continuous presence of the cytoplasm in it. It functions as a single coordinated unit composed of multiple linked cells structurally and functionally, making it an important component that plants must-have.
