What is a Trimerous Flower? Which Group of Plants has Trimerous Flowers

Answer: Flowers that bloom with only three petals are known as trimerous flowers. These flowers can be seen in monocot plants. Monocot plants are plants which have only a single cotyledon. These plants contain a fibrous root system. Monocot plants have leaves which have parallel venation. 

Examples include:  Onions, wheat, garlic, rice, maize, bamboo, corn and grass, daffodils, iris, ginger, banana, orchids, lilies, bluebells, amaryllis, and tulips.
