What is a Reflex Arc

Answer: The nerve pathway that is travelled by the body during a reflex is known as the reflex arc. When we inadvertently touch something hot, this is an example of the reflex arc that occurs in our bodies. The receptor is the one that initially detects the fluctuation in temperature. 

After that, electrical impulses are transmitted to the spinal cord’s relay neuron, which is situated there. Sensory neurons are the cells that connect motor neurons to the rest of the nervous system. The motor neuron is the source of the electrical impulses that are received by an effector. The effector is responsible for producing a response.
