Answer: There are about four types of ovules which are classified on the basis of the placement of the micropyle by taking the reference of the ovule stalk

• Campylotropous ovule 
• Hemitropous ovule 
• Orthotropous ovule 
• Anatropous ovule 

An ovule can be defined as a seed-producing organ that is present in the plant which grows flowers and in the plants of flowers an ovule is also called a megasporangium.
