What are the Constituents of Phloem

Answer: Phloem which is a living tissue that transfers soluble organic combines generated during the process of photosynthesis. This conveyance procedure is named translocation. In plants and trees, the phloem is present in the innermost membrane of the bark, hence the term, originated from the Greek term which implies bark. 

The Phloem tissue comprises the conducting cells, commonly named sieve elements, parenchyma cells, encompassing both specialised companion cells and unspecialized cells.
