Answer :- Plant ground tissue contains all tissues which are not dermal or vascular. It is divided into three different kinds based on the composition of the cell walls.

  • Parenchyma cell have skinny primary walls as well as usually survive after maturation. Parenchyma is the “filler” tissue found in soft parts of plants and is found in the medullary rays, pith, peri cycle, and cortex of the primary stem as well as the root.
  • Collenchyma cell have slender primary walls having secondary thickening in specific areas. Collenchyma provides additional structure and mechanical support, especially in areas of new growth.
  • Sclerenchyma cell have thick lignified second walls and frequently die when they reach maturity. Sclerenchyma is plant’s primary structural support.
