What are Animal Tissues

Gathered animal cells make up the tissues of an animal.’ These tissues are all unique in their structure, function, and origin. Animals have four types of tissues: epithelial, connective, muscular, and nervous.

• Epithelial tissue

The skin’s outer layer is made up of epithelial tissue lining the body’s cavities.

• Connective tissue

Organs and, as the name suggests, organs are supported and bonded by connective tissue as the name suggests..

• Muscular tissue

Muscular tissue applies force to the body by contracting.

• Axons and glia

Nervous or nerve tissue is the primary component of our nervous system.
