There are around 10 million distinct species of animals in the world and each of these species has its own unique means by which it navigates its environment.
Many of the species that are still around today would not be here if they were unable to move from one area to another. If they were unable to move, they would become extinct. It is vital for the day-to-day lives of some sorts of organisms that they are agile and dexterous in their movement, and these species may be found in a wide variety of different locations.
The majority of mammalian species, including kangaroos, rabbits, and bharals, among other kinds of mammals, move primarily by hopping. Hopping is the principal means of mobility for these animals. Insects that jump, such as grasshoppers, fleas, and mantises, are examples of the kinds of creatures that use hopping as their primary mode of transportation. Other kinds of creatures, such as leaping insects are examples of animals that hop.
The mammals known as rabbits, kangaroos, bharals and hares are all included in the group of animals known as “hoppers.” In addition, klipspringers are considered part of this group. The Froghopper, the Flea, the Kangaroo Rat, the Jumping Spider and the Cricket are all examples of insects that hop. Other hopping insects include the Jumping Spider.
