Answer: Joint at the wrist, joint between the carpels, zygapophyses of adjacent vertebrae are examples of gliding joint. Gliding Joint which is often called as plane joint or planer joint is a common type synovial joined developed between the bones that meet on flat or more or less flat articulate surfaces. The Gliding Joint are joints wi h help the bone to glide past each other either up and down or right or left and diagonally. For example, a joint at the wrist is a gliding joint.
