Draw a Neat Diagram of Spirogyra and Label the Cell Wall

Q. Draw a neat diagram of spirogyra and label the cell wall

Answer: spirogyra: Spirogyra is a planktonic green alga found in freshwater habitats such as ponds and lakes. Spirogyra is commonly known as “Spirogyra or pond silk”. They have a filamentous, unbranched vegetative structure. About 400 species of Spirogyra have been discovered. The genus Spirogyra is named after the unique spiral chloroplasts found in algae cells.

Spirogyra is photosynthesis and contributes significantly to the total fixation of carbon dioxide performed. They increase oxygen levels in their habitat. Many aquatic organisms eat them.
