• Mount Harriet is the 3rd highest peak in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and served as the summer headquarters of the Chief Commissioner during the British Raj
• It has now been renamed to honour the contributions of Manipur fighters in the 1891 Anglo-Manipur war
• Mount Harriet National Park is located nearby and is known for its wide variety of birds
