NTA UGC notification 2022
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG for MBBS, AYUSH, nursing and veterinary programmes is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NEET-UG, India’s single largest undergraduate medical admission test, is a pen-and-paper offline exam. The NEET 2022 registration date will be announced at the earliest. Exam Highlights
Aspirants must be aware of the following details regarding NEET UG exam before appearing for the examination:
- The exam takes place in pen-paper offline mode. Candidates have to attempt 180 questions.
- The total duration of the examination is 3 hours.
- The test takes place in 13 different languages – Hindi, English, Punjabi, Telugu, Urdu, Odia, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali and Assamese.
- For every correct answer, the candidate will be awarded 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
NEET UG 2022 application/registration procedure
The NEET 2022 application process will be entirely online. Applicants have to visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in and follow the below mentioned process:
- Check out the official NEET 2022 website.
- Select the tab that corresponds to the application form.
- Generate login credentials – an application number and password. Then follow the directions and enrol using personal information such as your name, contact information and password.
- Log in and fill out the application form with the accurate information and upload scanned copies of the required documents.
- Pay the application cost via net banking, credit/debit card, or UPI. Payment can also be made through offline mode.
- A confirmation page will appear on the screen. Take a printout for future reference.
NEET UG Examination Pattern
The NEET UG test format underwent several changes in 2021. While the overall time, style and marking scheme remained the same, other essential aspects of the exam, such as the maximum series of questions, number of questions to be attempted and the section layout were altered. Steps to Fill UGC NET Application Form 2023
Here are the steps to follow to apply for the UGC NET application 2023:
- Go to the official website https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in and click on the UGC NET application form 2023.
- A new screen will be displayed. Click on the “New Registration” button if you’re a new user, to register yourself. Else, fill in the details and hit the ‘Sign in’ button.
- The details to be filled in are :

- The candidate must choose the exam centre and the medium of the exam in which the candidate wants to attempt the exam.

UGC NET Application Form Correction 2023
The correction window for UGC NET 2023 Application Correction was opened from June 2nd to June 3rd 2023. The correction facility will be available on the official website. Those candidates who have previously submitted the application form can use the correction facility.
UGC NET Application Form 2023: Important Points to Remember
Mode of Application: The application form for UGC NET can be submitted only in online mode through the official website. Applications submitted through any other mode will not be accepted.
Single Application Form: Candidates are allowed to submit only one application form. Multiple submissions will lead to rejection.
Correct Email ID and Mobile Number: Candidates must provide their email ID and mobile number accurately in the application form. All important communication regarding the exam will be done by NTA through email or SMS.
Application Process Steps: The application process includes four steps: registration, filling out the application form, uploading scanned photos and signatures, and payment of the application fee. These steps can be completed together or separately, as per the candidate’s convenience.
Document Upload: Candidates are not required to upload any document other than scanned copies of their photograph and signature in the application form.
Non-Generation of Confirmation Page: If the confirmation page is not generated after the payment of the application fee, it indicates that the transaction has been cancelled. In such cases, the amount will be refunded to the candidate’s account, and a new transaction for fee payment needs to be made.
Retain Printed Copies: Candidates should keep printed copies of the confirmation page for future reference and documentation purposes.
No Physical Document Submission: Since the entire UGC NET application process is online, candidates are not required to send any document through post, fax, by hand, or via email to NTA.
