Types of Alphabet Test Questions

Here, you will get a brief introduction to different types of alphabet tests in logical reasoning, alphabet test questions, and alphabet series for the competitive exam syllabus.

In the reasoning section, alphabet test questions play a significant role. The alphabetic arrangement can be understood as arranging all the known jumbled letters into a proper word or a sequence. In the alphabet test, candidates answer questions where they are supposed to find the place of the English letter to the right or the left of some other English letter in the alphabetic order.

Before getting into the details of the types of alphabet test questions asked in competitive exams, let’s read about the alphabet test more. Let’s get started!

In the alphabet series, a group of the alphabet is provided based on which all mathematical operations are performed.

  • Creating new words

In this type of alphabet test, candidates are given a set of letters for creating new word types. Then, they will have to write a new word or a sequence based on these letters.

  • Mixed series

Another type of Alphabet test is the Mixed series. It involves an easy arrangement of letters, symbols, and numbers in a specific way. For example, simple series and operation series are two types of mixed series.

  • Positing words and letters in a word

In such questions, aspirants will look for pairs or digits where the letters and words will be the same.
