Constitution’s Historical Perspective

“Historical perspective” of the Indian Constitution, was adopted in 1950 and still has been enforcing the fundamental rules and legislation of India consisting of a series of status and statements.

Currently, India has been considered as a “federal state” consisting of 28 “federal entities”, that have been divided into seven unions. The total law and legislation farm have been based on the Indian constitution, which guided the fundamental rules and rights of India to secure the country’s economy. According to the constitution of India, there has been a date from “1773 to 1858” the British have tried to take the power of “centralization” respectively. Moreover, from the date 1833 the “charter act” has been formed but the government only functioned the act of 1919 respectively. However, the two most important government act in the “Historical perspective” of the Indian Constitution are “Act 1919” and “Act 1935”.

Historical perspective

In the perspective that is historical in nature, there is the major involvement of the different viewing angles to learn about the past. The past can be understood by the different viewing lenses that are emotional or intellectual in nature. This also helps to properly know the way which was used in the past for surviving in that time. There is the proper identification of the historical practices, beliefs and values of the previous time by knowing about the view that is historical in nature. The viewpoint of the past has properly shaped the actions and lives of various people in that time. The “historical perspective”also helps to understand the difference between the living patterns of the people in the present era and in the past times.      

Historical perspective for India

The historical viewpoint of India is great as there is the detection of the culture of human beings and also punctuated by the different invasions. The proper base of “modern India” was begun in the “12th century” by the great “Mughals”. The “Mughal Empire” in India has lasted for almost 300 years; however, there have been various invasions of the other different people. Till 1947, the “Government of India” functioned under several provisions of “the 1919 act”. The historical viewpoints of India have mainly gathered from the poems that are popular and the different accounts of the foreign travellers as there are no proper “historical writings”.  

Historical perspective of education

In India, the “history of education” has begun with the teaching of the different elements that are traditional. Those elements are “Indian logic”, “Indian Mathematics”, and “Indian religions” at the early centers of Buddhists and Hindus. The learning centers in the ancient time have been situated in ancient “Nalanda” and ancient “Takshashila”. These centers have existed before the arrival of Christianity and the missionaries of Christians. There is a belief that in ancient times in India, education has been imparted orally by various sages and also by the different scholars. In this manner, the learning or education of information has been passed on to the different generations.   

Historical perspective of science

There is the major contribution of ancient India to the present day’s “modern science” as Indians have invented “zero” as well as the “number system”. These are the major innovations of India in the historical aspect. In India, there is also the birth of various concepts of Mathematics such as “the value of pi”, calculus, trigonometry, algebra and many other things. The three important “science academies” such as “Indian National Science Academy”, “the National Academy of Sciences”, and “Indian Academy of Sciences” have been found before the independence of India. There is also a “historical perspective” of India to contribute towards metallurgy, holistic medicines and many other fields.  

Importance of historical perspective

There is a major and significant importance of learning the “historical perspective” of India. In the present era, the people of India have properly understood the living pattern and the contribution of ancient India in many fields by knowing the historical point of view of India. The perspective of “Indian History” has the importance as it enables the finding of the root of the different cultures of human beings. The historical viewpoint also helps to understand the past experiences and the different inventions in ancient times. The learning of different experiences can be shaped the thinking as well as the feeling of the particular “historical event”.

It can be concluded that the perspective of Indian history helped the modern people by having contributions in many different fields. There is the major contribution of ancient people in the field of research, science, literature, education and many more. There are different things that can not be known in case there is an absence of historical view in any field. The people of India came to know about the different events, issues and patterns of living of the people in ancient times. The different kinds of major “science academies” have been found in the year 1933 which is before the independence of India.
