The difference between the two longitudes is 102 degrees. This is done as both the places are in eastern hemisphere. As it is previously discussed that one degree = 4 minutes, therefore 102˚ = 102 * 4 = 408 minutes. 408 minutes can also be defined as 6 hours and 48 minutes. Wellington is at the east of Mumbai and places at east are ahead than places of the west, therefore, time in Wellington is 6 hours 48 min ahead of Mumbai. Hence the time is 2:48 pm
